Amritpal Singh

I started my online MBA at Boston University (BU) in Fall of 2026.

I chose BU Questrom School of Business for my MBA because it is well known university and it has good reputation.

I am an engineer by career and I am at a spot right now in my career where I have almost reached max salary with yearly raises sort of so I wanted to do something different. Something not related to technology. 

I wanted to learn how to best run businesses, how can I start a business of my own. I also wanted to know how I can be an excellent leader. In general, it would be added benefit to get promotions at my current position as well with this MBA degree.

The first semester I took QST MX 700 - Online MBA Launch, in general it introduced the program, introduced online tools and portal that are going to be used throughout the program. Basics of teaming, best communications practices were taught.

Every week there are live lecture sessions that students need to attend. Some lectures are mandatory, while others are optional that students can watch later at their own time. 

I am currently on 4th week of QST MX 710 Creating Value for Business and Society, I will review this class in the coming days.
